Geology and Cultural Heritage come together in Tennessee in several ways (think about coal for instance). One such convergence is the Pink Marble found in Knox County and Hawkins County in East Tennessee. This beautiful stone has been used in many historic structures throughout the USA including the US Capital Building and the Tennessee Supreme Court Building.
