The Cumberland Trails Conference is an important not for profit organization dedicated to supporting the State of Tennessee in the development and completion of the Cumberland Trail State Park.
Stretching from its beginning point near Chattanooga, the Cumberland Trail extends about 300 miles to the North and East along the edge of the Cumberland Plateau ending at the Kentucky border at Cumberland Gap. Knowledgeable citizens will recognize that this as one of the most scenic areas in all of Tennessee. With significant portions open to hikers, much challenging work still remains to complete the remaining portions of the trail.
Our guest today, Mike Croley is Executive Director of the CTC. He comes to the job after a decade of service in the Tennessee State Parks.
